Barkada Wine Bar was built on a simple idea: the best moments happen when good people gather, laugh, and raise a glass together. We're your home for curated natural wines, expertly crafted cocktails, and easy, celebratory company.
What barkada means
In Filipino culture, your barkada is your tight-knit circle — the friends you call for everything from a big celebration to a regular Tuesday night. We took that spirit and built a bar where connection is always the point.
A snug spot on U Street
We're nestled on 12th Street NW, between U Street's energy and the rowhomes of Shaw. Step inside and find pink velvet chairs, woven pendant lights, and a patio made for lingering.
What we pour
Natural wines and expertly crafted cocktails — approachable for a first-timer, rewarding for a devoted sipper. Inebrious scored our program 90 out of 100, and we're still finding bottles we can't wait to share.
